Crap, we're bad for eachother!

I've gone into a far dark place and can't climb out.

"Where would the ultmate, pre-marathon spaghetti dinner be?"

"Rome!"

The girl and I are bad for eachother...we're feeding-off eachother's wild, vivid imaginations with the other person not bringing the other back reality but rather encouraging the fantasies by saying, "Yes, we could do this!"

Sure, we're excited about running the Chicago Marathon but this led to us discussing running the Disney Marathon in January, just because it has the coolest finisher's medal -- Mickey Mouse ears. Our thoughts then turned to other U.S. cities we would like to run, visit and explore. Sure enough, why limit ourselves to the boring U.S. when there are foreign countries as well! I merely mentioned Paris and she jumped all over the possibilies and thought her parent's time share may be available.

Damn it! I've always wanted to date someone who would like to enter a variety of races and sightsee...I felt these types of vacations would make it seem like a personal connection to the city.

Through our rapid exchange of emails the thought of marrying her popped into my mind because I wanted to fulfill this part of my life with someone who has just as much enthusiam. Crap! It's happening.
